Ascension Episcopal School is a Christian community committed to guiding children on their journey toward spiritual, intellectual and physical excellence using their God-given talents. Preschool through 5th grade with extended care 7 am to 6 pm.
Ascension Episcopal provides an atmosphere in which understanding, tolerance, self-esteem, and confidence are instilled. The world of the future is becoming increasingly global and children at Ascension Episcopal are able to experience first hand this diversity and its value in a safe Christian environment. Helping children realize their ambitions through Christian and academic guidance encourages them to develop into citizens who feel the rewards of contributing positively to society.
As an elementary school, our students are given time to grow, the space to choose, and the love to learn. Responsibility around the campus increases as they mature and the appreciation for their individual gifts deepens as they begin to understand their ability to influence the world around them. Ascension's faculty and staff are tenured professionals who have devoted their careers to the growth and education of our students. Such dedication yields students who are well prepared both academically and spiritually for the challenges of middle school.
In a diverse student body, our students make friends in the classroom, on the playground, and through participation in extra-curricular activities. Through these shared experiences, our children learn to appreciate their differences and to celebrate each other's accomplishments. Ascension Episcopal School regards the diversity of race, color, nationality and religious affiliation as an educational asset and actively seeks this in its families. AES does not discriminate on the basis of the above in admission, enrollment process, the education policies or the administration of daily school programs.
