Westside High School invites our alumni and community members to celebrate our 10-year anniversary on August 12, 2010 at the Westchase Marriott.
Where are they now? Westside grads can reunite with classmates, teachers and faculty sharing their experiences over the years and networking for the future. Where are we now? Community members will see how far weve come from their grass roots campaign to build a high school in west Houston to the recognized school of 2010.
It will be an evening filled with remembrances, music, entertainment and fun but also one that looks to tomorrow. Its time to pass the baton to the Westside Alumni as they form their own organization and build the Alumni Scholarship Fund to help current Westside students take their next steps in life.
Entertainment provided by current and past members of the Westside HS Jazz Band, Inertia Dance Team and Choir.
We will be honoring original WHS staff members, VIPs including Laurie Bricker, Ann Patterson and Barbara Thornhill; West Houston feeder pattern principals; and encouraging everyone to come and catch up with favorite teachers and old friends. Proceeds from the Silent Auction will help to build the Alumni Scholarship fund.
Speakers will include past and current principals Scott Van Beck, Paul Castro and Michael McDonough.
